Job Summary

The Global Security Intelligence Center Analyst is an integral part of our event-driven, global notification Global Security Intelligence Center, which is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Global Security Intelligence Center Analysts monitor social media, news, weather systems, global security issues, physical security systems and internal network and telecommunications systems to identify and respond to potential events or incidents that could impact Bread Financial. A Global Security Intelligence Center Analyst is required to detect unfavorable situations, analyze, provide intelligence reporting and prioritize events through established critical event management and take appropriate response actions. These response actions include but not limited to; analysis of threat intelligence data, open source investigations (e.g. Social Media), travel risk management (Duty of Care), infrastructure support (e.g. IT, Care Centers, Company Properties, etc.), facilitating emergency leadership discussions, drafting and publishing mass notifications, assigning incidents to the appropriate internal teams and escalating urgent matters to appropriate departments or collective groups for resolution and create intelligence reporting for review by management.

Essential Job Functions

Operational – Demonstrates excellent customer skills when answering calls or e-mails from associates, brand partners or vendors. Understanding Bread Financial’s overall mission is necessary to be able to assist with identifying critical business issues and business units impacted. Assists in preparing reports for the department on specific events and performing analysis on types of events and incidents the Global Security Intelligence Center is handling. Furthermore providing written reporting of intelligence received in reference to direct impact to company infrastructure, operations, brand partners, and/or reputational risk, threat intelligence, travel risk threat mitigation and other data reviews as deemed necessary and/or ad hoc duty to report. Understands the steps required to ensure successful communication between the businesses and Incident Management teams. Learns and monitors business operations, and tools necessary for daily operational success.

Development – Will spend appropriate amount of on job training with a senior Global Security Intelligence Center analyst to develop skills, and tools as necessary for success in the role. Will also perform all necessary training as required by the business and regulations.

Reports to: Supervisor

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements: This position will require majority of time spent in an enclosed area with little natural lighting. Potentially be able to work unconventional shifts or hours other than standard schedule.

Minimum Qualifications:

One year work experience in an Analyst role in a Security Operations Center (SOC), Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) or a Network Operations Center (NOC), Homeland Security analyst, Emergency Operations Center, Military Intelligence, Business Analysis and/or equivalent experience

Preferred Experience:

Some college in Homeland Security, Emergency Operations Center, Military Intelligence, Homeland Security, Business Analysis
