Job Description :
South Shore Neurologic Associates, PC – Opening for Infusion Billing Position
We are looking for an experienced Medical Biller to join our dynamic team of individuals!
The ideal candidate should have at least 3-5 years of experience in a fast paced billing environment. Prior infusion experience is a must. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
You will be learning every aspect of our Infusion billing department. We are looking for someone with knowledge of insurance verification and prior authorizations, obtaining referrals and collecting money. An experienced Infusion biller who knows how to call the insurance companies. The position is heavy AR and you must not be afraid to call patients to collect their balances as well. Strong knowledge of insurances and willing to do billing and financials.
Requirements of Position:
Excellent communication skills, professional customer service, resourceful and motivated.
The ability to be flexible is essential
Must be detail oriented and a multi-tasker
Knowledge of Medical terminology
Data entry with STRONG attention to detail
Must be computer savvy
All around team player
Extensive knowledge in the FULL PROCESS of the claim cycle including:
Eligibility
Authorizations
Billing and collections
Accounts receivable
All resume submissions MUST include salary requirements to be considered
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 – $20.00 per hour

High school or equivalent (Preferred)

ICD-10: 3 years (Preferred)
