Job Title: Director of Distribution Operations
Locations: Everett, WA

Escalating operations Distribution and Warehouse Center management experience – preferably of complex in-house operations
Lean Methodology and/or Supply Chain Qualification (e.g. Six Sigma, APICS) and related experience in process enhancements and standardization
Effective Project Management Skills with strong attention to detail
Advanced knowledge in Warehouse Management Systems and integration with ERP
Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and flexible team environment
Strong leadership skills with the ability to hold team members accountable
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to negotiate and influence internal and external stakeholders
Responsibilities:
The Director of Distribution Operations will be responsible for all aspects of warehousing, distribution and logistics functions for all of the client’s network.
This role is a key member of the Senior Leadership Team. They will drive process discipline, efficiency, and manage the operational and daily business through common processes, systems/tools and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
They will be responsible for identifying industry best practices and process enhancements for distribution and warehouse operations.
This includes, but not limited to, quality and operational efficiencies directly contributing to an improved customer experience.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing effective distribution strategies to enhance client’s go-to market strategy as well as develop robust and cost-efficient delivery models.
This role requires the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with sales, outsourced partners and the ability to lead and influence at all levels in the organization.
They will require significant transformational capability, as the company continues to make investments in the total supply chain model to drive improved cost, consistent service, greater quality and an overall improved customer experience.
This role is instrumental in the delivery of client’s aggressive total business plan.

Maximizes shipping and production systems, driving product quality and operations performance by using effective technology and processes
Responsible for delivering optimized shipping and operating costs to achieve continually improving financial objectives, managing the productivity and effectiveness of the distribution centers for optimum company profitability
Maintains successful and productive working relationships with outside suppliers to ensure continually improving quality services and best rates possible
Coordinate the inventory management process that achieves business targets and complies with both audit and financial requirements for inventory accuracy
Monitor and maintain appropriate staffing levels, and lead recruiting and talent development initiatives
Mentor, train and coach direct reports while effectively delegating, and provides clear expectations and regular feedback
Lead the execution of the network strategy, including potential warehouse integrations and relocations as well as setting up and integrating new distribution locations
