Job Description :
Front of the House Director – $28/hr Plus performance bonuses after six months

Role Summary: Responsible for all Front of the House systems and personnel. Provide operational oversight and strong leadership. Not afraid of hard work. Create an environment where all are valued and are empowered. Perform Guest service duties. Developing short and long range business goals.

The ideal candidate, in addition to excellent communication skills, must have:

21 Years of Age or older
1-2 year of leadership experience
Exceptional organizational skills to manage an operation with many moving parts
Passion for Chick-fil-A values
Open availability


Must be a positive influence
Must be a problem solver
Must be able to lift and maneuver more than fifty (50) pounds
Must be able to read, write, perform basic math and demonstrate verbal communication skills
Must be able to respond to changes or edits to orders quickly and efficiently
Must be able to stand for periods of up to six (6) hours in length
Must be able to work in a hot, noisy and fast paced environment
Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age
Must be available to work a minimum of twenty (20) hours per week and two (2) Friday’s and three (3) Saturday’s per month
Must be eligible to work in the United States
Must ensure proper security and cash handling procedures
Must ensure Team Members follow recipes and accurately prepare all orders
Must ensure Team Members work at a pace to maintain established speed of service requirements
Must have a reliable source of transportation
Must have the ability to handle all equipment, pans, pots, navigating shelving both high and low
Must work well with others and under pressure
Must value Team Work

You will be specifically responsible for:

Adhering to all Chick-fil-A Covington policies and procedures
Appropriately documenting employee performance and policy/procedure violations and taking appropriate corrective actions
Coordinating shift coverages and availability requests for Team Members
Executing proper security and cash handling and control procedure
Growing Team Members and the business
Having a high level of self-organization and attention to detail
Identifying shortfalls in training and implement plans to improve operational success
Maintaining a positive working relationship and treating all with respect, while simultaneously providing them with coaching, direction, and feedback
Obtaining a Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification within three (3) months
Obtaining a ServSafe: Food Protection Manager Certification within three (3) months
Order Accuracy as an Operational goal
Performing other duties as assigned
Recruiting, scheduling and conducting interviews for hiring new Team Members
Responding to phone calls and text made during restaurant business hours
Reviewing and verifying Daily financial accuracy
Reviewing, addressing and responding to Guest concerns
Scheduling and conducting bi-weekly Team Leader meeting’s
Speed of Service as an Operational goal
Training, coaching, and supervising approximately ninety Team Members
Working operational shifts in the restaurant
Working with a Life Coach and being coachable and prepared for coaching sessions
