The Corporate Controller will provide leadership to ensure that our accounting operations are functioning in an effective and efficient manner. This critical role will report to the Controller and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the general ledger; establishing and maintaining controls; and developing and implementing sustainable process improvements within the accounting department.
Additional Job Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of financial reporting for multiple entities, including general ledger, consolidation, and accurate and timely monthly financial reporting.
Oversight of operational accounting, including AR and AP.
Oversight of treasury and cash reporting functions.
Act as one of main contacts for third party audits, with ultimate responsibility for providing complete and accurate PBC’s, answering auditor inquiries, providing additional analysis as needed, and ensuring that audits are completed timely.
Collaborate in analysis of company’s financial performance.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting as needed.
Implement consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures.
Establish, maintain, and improve internal controls.
Manage accounting team, including providing constructive feedback and development coaching.
Implement a process to record transactions by department.
Review and recording of journal entries required to reflect the monthly activity.
Preparation of work papers supporting the monthly close process and month end balances.
Review monthly accounting close process including analytical review of the monthly operating results to ensure accurate accounting records are maintained.
Preparation of monthly financial statements.
Maintenance of fixed asset records and coordinate quarterly inventory of fixed assets with the information technology department.
Implement, document, and maintain adequate and effective processes to improve the close and reporting cycles to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Proper analytical review of the asset operations from a balance sheet, income statement and cash flow perspective as well as an overall business perspective.
Lead functional areas of ERP system and supporting systems.
. Requirements:

Bachelors and/or master’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting.
CPA or CMA preferred
10 – 15+ years’ experience in the accounting and finance sector.
10+ years’ experience managing accountants and the accounting and finance process.
Strong experience in both the private and public accounting sectors is preferred but not required.
Credibility, ethical, full disclosure, and clean financial history.
Conscientious about timeliness of assignments and quality of work product.
Accountable for specific performance.
