THE ROLEFloorFound is the leading end-to-end recommerce platform for oversized retailers (i.e. furniture, appliances, workout equipment, mattresses, etc.). The company has seen over 8x growth in clients in the past year and is now pioneering the recommerce revolution with brands such as Floyd Home, Burrow, Inside Weather, Million Dollar Baby, Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams, Living Spaces, Sabai, Outer, EQ3, and Interior Define.
We are looking for a VP of Network that will be responsible for leading our effort to continue to build out our first of its kind Recommerce Network infrastructure for oversized items. FloorFound is experiencing rapid growth in inventory and sales and the VP of Network will take the lead role in designing, executing on our network infrastructure plans in support of our business plan KPIs (economics, speed, CX, agility) and identifying, forming, and managing relationships with our network partners. This role will report directly to the CEO.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Overall responsibility for architecting a network model that will support the exponentially growing needs of the company for reverse logistics, warehousing, and nationwide drop shipping.
Build key partnerships with supporting vendors and maintain strategic executive relationships with our partners.
Overall leadership for the operations team including the Director of operations and all operations supporting team.
Work with FloorFound’s VP Product to assure alignment and integration of the Recommerce network with FloorFound’s platform and products.
Define processes to support all expansion Recommerce businesses including Recommerce, Trade in, Refurbishment and Repair.
Present on FloorFound Recommerce network plans, performance and opportunities to the FloorFound board
QUALIFICATIONS
15 years of overall experience in supply chain and logistics including diverse profile across transportation and logistics.
5 years of experience in retail eCommerce transportation and logistics.
Experience negotiating and managing a logistics and transportation team.
Direct experience working with negotiating with and managing a last mile carrier network for home delivery.
Direct experience with building and managing warehouse partnerships with 3pls and ideally overseeing direct warehouse operations.
Proven track record of setting and attaining network performance goals including economics, speed and customer experience.
Experience working with leading edge transportation and logistics applications including TMS, WMS, aggregators, APIs.
