The Creator Partnership Coordinator is tasked with initiating, developing, and extending the relationships between VidCon and the top online video creators, musicians, and traditional celebrities plus their teams of managers and agents. The ideal candidate has a strong passion and love of all genres of online video and music with an understanding of the global talent landscape! Responsibilities:
Build deep and mutually strong relationships with top content creators, their agents, and managers
Oversee VidCon’s Invited Guest Program – send invites, schedule meet & greets, and provide answers for all creators participating in the program
Identify new and upcoming talent that should be included in VidCon’s talent roster
Support the Director of Talent Partnerships by scheduling meetings and phone calls, managing spreadsheets, replying to emails, etc.
Create and manage travel itineraries and on-the-ground experiences for top talent (and their retinue) that have agreed to appear at VidCon
Build and maintain a database of online video creators across all genres that have potential to be a featured creator or have been in the past
Assist in the process of securing talent
Provide support for on-site talent management
All other duties as assigned
Some travel required, up to 20% Expectations:
Continue to grow knowledge of online content and creators, expanding across all genres and platforms
Display a positive and respectful attitude
Represent VidCon in a responsible manner, even when off duty
Follow set policies and procedures when a situation occurs
Maintain a solutions-driven mentality Qualifications:
Ability to remain composed in stressful situations
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Interpersonal and customer service skills
Proven ability to develop rapport and establish trust with senior executives, agents, managers, speakers, and creators
Strong computer experience, specifically with CRM software
Proficiency in various applications of Microsoft Office and Google Drive Additional Qualifications:
Hospitality or travel industry experience a strong plus
Events experience a plus
In-depth knowledge of travel booking services
BA/BS Degree or 4-year degree in a related field preferred
