Assistant Service Manager
The Assistant Service Manager provides support for refrigeration and cookline kitchen and bar equipment maintenance, repair, and delivery.
Assistant Service Manager Duties & Responsibilities
The Assistant Service manager will report to and work closely with the Service Manager to uphold and improve all aspect of the service organization
Ensure customer retention by understanding their service requirements and coordinating our company’s response
Schedule service calls
Support our field technicians
Coordinate and participate with the installation teams to help troubleshoot problems and resolve customer concerns while managing service and commissioning engineers.
Work under strict deadlines and respond to service requests and emergency monitoring situations.
Participate in Service Department HR functions including hiring and developing service technicians
Supervise Drivers in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws
Provide Feedback to management concerning technicians, customers, inventory
The Assistant Service Manager is a key position, and you will be directly managing and coordinating activities that help determine how well our company performs.
The Assistant Service Manager works with every department and every fellow team member, from the technicians to Accounting and upper management
When our service manager is unavailable you will oversee service operations.
Qualifications and Skills
High School Diploma
Some experience with basic mechanical systems
Proven ability to successfully multitask
Comfort working in a fast-paced environment
Socially oriented and able to effectively listen and speak to others
Microsoft Office
Self-motivated while also able to be successful in a team environment
Salary and Benefits
$32 to $40/hr or Salary – Consummate with experience and other factors
