What you will do:
As a Regional Director of Business Development, you will lead, coordinate, direct, and administer the region’s marketing and admissions and public relations programs to provide the number of referrals and admissions that are required to meet or exceed facility census and revenue goals.
Must haves:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Administration or related field and/or additional job-related experience may be substituted in lieu of the degree
2-4 years’ experience in business development or related field
3 years of management experience
Minimum of 5+ years Healthcare experience, including at least 3+ years’ experience in healthcare administration
Knowledge of managed care contracting required in any of the following settings: Long Term Acute Care, Skilled Nursing/Transitional Care, Inpatient Rehab, Home Health/Hospice
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to apply knowledge of medical terminology and payor reimbursement methodologies including managed care requirements and strategies
Ability to think critically, review and understand contract language
Strong organizational skills
Must be knowledgeable of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care
