Job Summary
Oscar’s Brewing Company is looking for a dishwasher whose objective is to provide a safe and clean environment for our guests and staff. You are the front line of food safety and sanitation. Ensuring that our team members have what they need to complete their jobs and that the tableware used to serve our guests is sparkling clean are your top priorities.
Responsibilities and Duties
Keep the dishwashing area clean and organized
Work quickly and efficiently to keep up with the needs of a busy restaurant
Properly wash and stock all pots, pans, utensils and tableware thoroughly
Sweep, mop and dry floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
Take out the trash and clean trash bins
You supply the kitchen with the cookware needed to ensure a smooth operation
Qualifications and Skills
Must be at least 18 years of age
Be organized, attention to detail and ability to follow directions
Have great communication skills and be able to work as a team!
Function well when under stress
Have a current food handler permit
Able to work a flexible schedule including holidays, weekends, and evenings
Able to meet physical demands such as lifting 50 pounds and standing for 8 hours or more
