Seattle Radiologists has an exciting opportunity for a Imaging Center Tech Aide to join our dynamic team! The Tech Aide participates with the imaging center team to deliver exemplary patient care and customer service while performing a variety of tasks to support the technologists and patient workflow.
Work Schedule: 7am – 3:30pm (Five 8 hour days) or (Four 10 hour days)
Responsibilities
Customer and Patient Satisfaction: Must be proactively and consistently contributing to the team’s ability to meet and anticipate the needs and expectations of internal and external customers. Effectively provides service and/or resolves problems. Works to create a positive experience for all.
Technical Performance: Assists with patient workflow for MRI, CT and other imaging modalities as needed. Tasks include but are not limited to; keeping the patient schedule on-time by bringing patients back to the department, correctly changing them for their exam, confirming the paperwork is correct and completed, scanning or faxing paperwork, answering phones, creating/confirming patient information is correct on CD’s and/or film for patients receiving a copy of their exam, setting up the rooms, etc.
Communication: Utilizes clear and effective communication with imaging center team and patients by using either oral, written or verbal methods. Demonstrates a general knowledge of modalities to assist technologists with patient communication. Gives and receives feedback in a non-defensive manner, asks for clarification, evaluates feedback and realizes the freedom to modify or stay the same.
Quality and Safety: Assists the MR and CT technologists with patient screening procedures. Adheres to MRI, radiation and blood borne pathogen safety standards to contribute toward a safe environment for patients and staff.
Education and Experience
Current certification in Healthcare Provider CPR.
Experience: 1-2 years of healthcare experience preferred
In order to protect physicians, employees and patients of Radia from contracting COVID-19 and to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, and in compliance with Governor Inslee’s Proclamation 21-14 (“COVID- 19 Vaccination Requirement”), Radia requires that all Health Care Setting Workers receive a COVID-19 vaccination, subject to the exemptions.
New hires will be required to present written proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a written request for an Exemption within 30 days of hire if hired prior to October 18, 2021 and immediately upon hire if hired on or after October 18, 2021.
