Vice President of Sales – Seattle
DACO Corporation is a leader in the material handling industry and based on our growth, we are seeking a regionally located Vice President / Director of Sales to lead a regional sales team located in the Washington / Oregon marketplace. The ideal candidate will work directly from our Seattle office location. The role is a “hands-on” sales leader working with a regional sales team in Seattle Washington.
The VP of Sales position requires 8-10+ years of proven experience in sales, sales leadership, hiring and selection, and sales team development. The “right” sales leader will be located in the market area to travel, coach, mentor and oversee 7-10 regionally focused sales professionals providing sales support and performance accountability to grow and optimize new and current customer accounts with a primary focus on new business development. Industry-related experience in the material handling industry is a plus!

The role requires a self-directed, results-oriented, strategic sales leader with strong technical aptitude, strong sales, leadership, and organization skills that supports the role requirements below:
75% – Sales Management & Revenue Growth – Oversee, coach, develop and build a sales organization that drives sales performance and customer growth which includes territory travel, joint calls, customer engagement, and new business development.
25% – Strategy, Planning & Administration – Setting sales strategy, territory goals, budgets, and tracking and reporting. Includes problem resolution, marketing support, internal department collaboration, and support of corporate goals.
