Under the direction of the Lead Ultrasound Technologist, the Diagnostic Imaging Ultrasound Tech will perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in ultrasound at a technical level not requiring supervision. The Radiology Ultrasound Tech will perform a variety of routine, as well as interventional/invasive procedures requiring independent judgement.
The Diagnostic Imaging Ultrasound Tech should be able to perform and assist with Quality Assurance activities related to Ultrasound. The Radiology Ultrasound Tech will perform any combination of the primary duties depending on area of assignment. The Diagnostic Imaging Ultrasound Tech will be working as part of a team at the direction of the Manager, Leads, and Radiologists to ensure efficient operation of the breast health center.
The Radiology Ultrasound Tech require will work as part of a team at the direction of the Director or Manager, lead, and radiologists to ensure efficient operation of the ultrasound department. The ideal candidate for Diagnostic Imaging Ultrasound Tech should have ultrasound training program with ARDMS certification. The Diagnostic Imaging Ultrasound Tech should also have previous experience in ultrasound procedures, including interventional.
