Title & Shift: Production Scheduler/Day Shift
Location: Kent
Schedule: 6 am to 3 pm

About the job: The ideal candidate will support the master scheduler in creating a production schedule utilizing information from material and production systems.
Job Duties:
Ensures adequate plant inventory levels for work-in-process and finished goods, optimizes inventory levels to keep scrap at below standard.
Coordinates information flow to the operating departments with a steady stream of production schedules.
Process Sales Orders, and create schedules for all production areas.
Updates daily schedule to balance efficiencies and customer needs.
Maintain appropriate safety stocks of finished goods inventory.
Requirements:
B.S. Math, economics, business, or statistics preferred.
At least one year of manufacturing planning experience.
