We are a small family business specializing in Snow Cone/Hawaiian Shave Ice flavors and concessions. We sell FUN! The ideal candidate must be energetic and willing to learn. The work site is a fast-paced wholesale warehouse environment.
Shifts are decided by the manager at the time of hire. The position will be approximately 20 hours per week. The position will end just after Labor Day. Available shifts are:
Saturdays 10-4
Sundays 10-4
Mondays 8-4
Tuesdays 8-4
Wednesday 8-4
Thursdays 8-4
Fridays 8-4
Responsible for carrying out a variety of warehouse activities such as processing, packaging, and shipping orders correctly, ensuring the proper organization of stock and maintenance of inventory, and inspecting products for defects and damages. Prepare items to be shipped by placing in appropriate box or shipping container.Pack orders and prepare for shippingGather products for order fulfillment, label merchandise and ensure stock levels are maintainedPrepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery areaEnsure that there is adequate stock for shipment purposesEnsure orders are ready for shipping, as well as marking and labeling product containersQuality control – check each product to ensure quality before shipping and isolate and report any damaged products. Checking the product to ensure that it is in proper working condition and is not damagedSort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standardsEnsuring that containers are marked properly and labeled appropriatelyAssist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandiseMaintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neatAssists in maintaining a clean, organized warehouse environment at all times
SKILLS:Excellent organizational skills, physical strength and staminaprior experience working in a warehouse preferredAttention to detail, good manual skills and team-work capabilitiesGreat attention to detail with accuracy and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment where tasks must be completed quicklyAbility to lift up to 45 lbs and perform routine packing workReadiness to be cross-trained in other areas of a warehouse operation, as well as physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects without assistance for an entire shift
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to handle and maneuver a variety of materials—must be able to lift up to 45 lbs
Ability to stand or walk 8 hours during the work shift
Ability to work with computer scanning equipment
Ability to work with computer scanning equipment
Regular, reliable and predictable attendance
Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
Must have legal right or authorization to work in the United States
Background check required
ADDITIONAL QUALITIES CONSIDERED AN ADVANTAGE:
Experience operating forklift and/or pallet jack
Attention to detail
Computer skills
Skills in packaging and picking a wide array of items, as well as completing manual and computerized forms or shipping documents
*** Background Check and Drug Screening will be performed prior to hire

Pay: $17.00 per hour
