Job Description :
The Parts Finisher we seek must have a strong safety focus, as well as a strong work ethic. This employee will have adaptability and an eye for detail. This position will assist in the production process to prep/polish materials and products for the quality control and assembly areas.
Specific responsibilities may include:
· Sanding: Ability to use handheld grinders and other finishing tools to meet QMS (quality management standards).
· Blueprints: Capable of reading and understanding blueprints, drawings, and wok orders following the directions listed therein.
· Other duties: Other duties may include cutting, tapping, drilling, grinding, and sanding.
· Safety: Employees in this position must ensure they are using the proper safety equipment and always abiding by company safety policies.
· Employees in this position may from time to time be asked to work in other areas of production and are not limited to the processes listed above.
· Support and participate in the organization’s Continual Improvement Program to conform to ISO 9001:2015 requirements by complying with the Quality Policy and procedures and meeting QMS objectives.
· Understand the implications of not conforming to QMS requirements.
1.0 REQUIREMENTS
1.1 EDUCATION AND TRAINING
· Graduation from high school or GED required.
2.0 ABILITIES
· Must be able to work in a fast paced, physically demanding environment.
· Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and job orders.
· Basic computer navigations to report work.
· Must be able to stand, bend, lean, and work moving arms and hands for 8-10 hours a day.
· Ability to use mature, sound, judgment.
· Multitasker.
· Attention to detail.
· Produce error-free work.
· Deadline-oriented.
· Self-starter who thinks of innovative, faster ways to accomplish tasks.
· Work with minimal supervision.
· Effectively managing one’s time and resources to ensure that work is completed efficiently.

· Consistently demonstrate honesty and a high degree of integrity.
3.0 PHYSICAL AND SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
· Reasonable accommodations are made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
· Standing for extended periods, frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, walk, 8-10 hours per day.
· Must be able to talk and hear.
· Frequent use of hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
· Significant amount of lifting, regularly lifting, moving, pushing, or pulling up to 40 pounds.
· Must comply with any safety or PPE requirements.
· Exposure to moving mechanical parts, tools, and a somewhat loud work environment.
· There is minimal exposure to other environmental hazards.
· Must have the physical ability to use an electric and manual pallet jack.
