Must have’s:
Registered Nurse
8+ years home health industry experience
5+ years clinical and business operations leadership experience
2+ years, recent multi-site & state leadership experience
Proven, verifiable performance & job stability
Willing to travel on a regular basis
Responsibilities for the Area Director of Operations Role include:
Providing support to agencies in achievement of identified clinical and operational goals.
Ensuring participation in performance improvement activities.
Ensuring effective and ongoing, on-the-job training of agency administrators/executive directors.
Providing coaching and counseling, and makes appropriate developmental and salary adjustment recommendations.
Overseeing marketing, sales, and census development.
May serve as Acting Administrator/Executive Director.
Managing special projects within the region.
Monitoring compliance with state and federal regulations and company standards, in collaboration with the Vice President of Sales/Ops, Compliance and Human Resources departments. Monitor and maintain quality products and programs which adhere to company mission and principles in all national branches.
Required :
Degree in Nursing, Business, or related field. Master’s Degree preferred.
Current State Registered Nurse License as appropriate
Minimum of five (5) years experience in operations management, two (2) years recent multi-site home health experience
Valid driver’s license and auto liability insurance coverage according to company policy
Ability to assess and manage through crisis situations
Knowledge of applicable federal and state regulatory requirements
Knowledge of company standards and computer systems
