Sanford Federal, is looking to hire a Janitorial Supervisor to oversee a team of Janitors and Housekeepers providing Janitorial and Housekeeping services for the Ted Stevens Marine Research Institute (TSMRI)
Job Details:
· Job Title: Janitorial Supervisor
· Schedule: Part time / Monday – Friday
· Location: Ted Stevens Marine Research Institute (TSMRI), 17109 Point Lena Loop Juneau, AK 99801
Requirements:
The Candidate must meet the following requirements:
· Experience in managing a team of employees and monitoring staff attendance.
· Assign janitorial work to employees, following material and work requirements.
· Recommend all materials and supplies to clean the TSMRI facilities in accordance with the performance work statement.
· Inspect work performed to ensure conformance to specifications and established standards.
Duties:
The candidate will be responsible for:
· Serve as the main on-site POC.
· Timesheet reporting for all the crew.
· Ensuring 100% coverage of all work hours, managing call outs, no shows. Manage time off requests and ensure coverage is arranged.
· Ensuring that the staff are performing their duties successfully.
· Filling shifts as needed to ensure 100% shift coverage.
