Job Description :
TITLE: Financial Service Officer I
REPORTS TO: Consumer Loan Manager
Purpose:
Create relationships and learn about our members’ lives and financial history. You have the unique ability to look beyond a credit score, placing value on individual circumstances, and help our members achieve their financial goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist members with account information. Open all types of deposit accounts, including initial membership share deposit.
Provide key products and sales within branch to ensure profitable and sound business practices and a high quality of service for members.
Be compliant with credit union regulations, policies, and procedures, and federal and state laws and regulations set forth by the National Credit Union Administration and other regulatory agencies.
Interview loan applicants and provide information on loan products that best meet the member’s needs. Request and review all required information and documentation to secure a loan.
Complete the full loan application process, including the preparation of documents, analysis of data and credit history, as well as collecting and reviewing required documentation for consumer loan products.
Adhere to current internal consumer lending policy and procedure.
Notify applicants of loan decision. Correspond with members, applicants and creditors in a professional and timely manner to resolve questions regarding application information.
Work directly with local dealers in supporting our members needs.
Inform prospective borrowers of loan commitments.
Perform other duties as directed by supervisor or manager.
Display a positive attitude while representing and supporting the credit union’s core values.
Experience:
Experience working face to face with customers in a service & sales environment
Preferred experience in working in a high paced detail oriented role.
Skills/Abilities:
Excellent organization, communication, sales, and services skills. Good math skills and attentive to details

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
