Job Description :
Job Summary: Manages day to day operations of a warehouse.
Job Duties: Develops and implements policies and procedures governing the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, equipment, and/or supplies. Supports the organization’s supply chain strategy through maintenance of appropriate inventory levels and timely distribution of goods. Tracks inventory by performing physical counts and verifying information against warehousing systems. Ensures warehouse operations comply with regulations governing materials handling, storage, and distribution where applicable.
Experience and Education: Comprehensive knowledge of the field’s concepts and principles. Performs complex tasks typically following established processes. Leads and directs the work of other employees and has full authority for personnel decisions. Primarily focused on administering established policies and procedures but may have some impact on departmental budgeting, strategic planning, and procedural change. Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 6 years of experience.
Reports to: Typically reports to a department head.
