Digital Media Specialist

Summary/Objective
We are looking for a driven Digital Media Specialist to attract and interact with targeted virtual communities and networks users. The goal is to gradually achieve superior customer engagement and intimacy, website traffic and revenue by strategically exploiting all aspects of the social media marketing roadmap. Social media specialists should have a solid understanding of how each social media channel works and how to optimize content so that it is engaging on those channels. You are responsible for joining relevant conversations on behalf of the brand and soft selling the product by providing support to current and prospective customers.
Responsibilities:

Coordinate the creation of digital content (e.g. website, social media, videos, product release assets, and podcasts).
Manage end-to-end digital projects.
Maintain accuracy and boost brand awareness in our web presence.
Maintain a strong online company voice through social media.
Liaise with Marketing, Sales and Product development teams to ensure brand consistency.
Assist with updating platforms with content.
Suggest and implement direct marketing methods to increase profitability.
Stay up-to-date with digital media developments.

A candidate in this position will likely have:

Proven work experience as a Digital Media Specialist or Digital Marketing Manager.
Solid knowledge of Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Audition, or other media editing software.
Experience with visual communication principles.
Familiarity with web design and content management systems.
An ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines.
Strong communication skills.
BS degree in Marketing, Digital Media, or relevant field strongly preferred.

Work Environment
This job operates as a work from home position and requires due diligence to adequately complete job responsibilities, meet deadlines and work effectively and efficiently. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, scanners, and photocopiers.

Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting.
