Envision Your Experience

The Program Management Director, Platform Delivery
focuses on alignment, communication, and processes around product development and iteration for platform and shared services teams including onboarding/readiness, data, content, and assessment technology teams as well as related stakeholders. This position has a critical role in enabling cross-functional product teams to operate as effectively as possible, allowing us to deliver value to users faster.

This is a full-time position, based out of your home office (must be in the US). You can also expect to travel up to anywhere from 10-25%., so be sure you have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance and a clean driving record for at least the preceding 39 months.

Share Your Expertise

Experience, education, and qualifications essential for success in this role, include:

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or technology and 7 years of experience in product management, program management, or product development within the SaaS industry; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
Proficiency in product management and software development lifecycle as well as common frameworks for building technology products (e.g. Agile methodology), preferably in the ed technology industry.
3+ years of experience managing a small to mid-sized team (3-10) of program / project managers and operations roles.
Experience with analysis and visualization of complex data sets and data visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI).
Strong working knowledge of product management and product development tools (e.g. Atlassian, Productboard) and familiarity with program and project management software tools (e.g. SmartSheet).
Highly motivated with excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to self-start and handle multiple priorities.
Ability to work collaboratively to create a high-quality results-driven, team-oriented environment.
Proficiency in online meeting applications such as Zoom and in collaboration tools like Slack, Microsoft Office, SmartSheet

Partner with platform horizontals and content development services leadership to execute on platform strategy in alignment with organizational product needs and ensure delivery across multiple product verticals and brands.
Define, communicate, support, and improve critical operations that can be standardized across the product development lifecycle (e.g. establishing and communicating roadmaps, cross team planning dependency mapping, solution discovery & validation, cross team solution execution, and release planning and communication).
Manage the framework for functional and architectural decision making (identifying the need, analyze options, select solution, document decisions) and trade-offs to meet program and platform objectives.
Leverage organizational tools to get the right quantitative and qualitative data to enable creation of better products.
Ensure scale and reusability across the platform services used to service our multiple products.
Recruit, onboard, and develop program and project managers in key competency areas and coach them to realize their full professional potential.
