What you’d be doing:
This opportunity is a great fit for professionals interested in a pay for performance position with a company where employee safety is a critical element of the business infrastructure. Auditor income range is $35,000 to $75,000 plus+ (depending on experience and qualifications). Initial salary will be commensurate with experience. Individuals with at least 2 years of Premium Audit experience are encouraged to apply. IPI is seeking energetic and dependable business professionals to conduct physical audits on workers’ compensation and general liability policies for various insurance companies. Qualified candidates will schedule appointments, perform field audits, and examine financial records such as payroll registers, quarterly 941s/SUTAs, general ledger, sales ledger, and you will be expected to meet with clients/ accountants in order to determine the correct premium base.
What it takes:
Finance, accounting, or related degree
Strong verbal communication skills
Knowledge of accounting principles
Ability to work independently with strong analytical, problem solving, decision making, and organizational skills
Proficient computer skills
Open to frequent travel (depending on business needs following pandemic threat)
Associate’s Degree OR equivalent experience in accounting/ insurance
Where we complete work:
IPI currently offers two options to our customers. Physical Audits and Remote Physical Audits. Our auditors are required to live in one of the following states below. Depending on auditor location will depend on the type of audits available. Physical Audit states may also offer remote physical audits in addition to in-person physical audits.
Physical Audit States: MN, ND, SD, CO, NE, AZ, IA, WI, MI, MO, AR, TN, IN, IL, NC, KS
Work From Home States: WA, OR, ID, WY, MT, UT, TX, OK, SC, KY, VA, OH
Due to the extreme nature of the COVID-19 pandemic, Information Providers, Inc. is temporarily moving into the work-at-home environment. All interviews, hiring, training, and job duties will be done 100% remote from the comfort and safety of your own home. As the health threat on society subsides, these positions will return to onsite positions depending on business needs. Currently, we are looking for self-motivated individuals to conduct physical audits on workers’ compensation and general liability policies for various insurance companies. Must pass interview process and background/drug screening.
