Opening: Office Assistant/Sales Representative
Location: Anchorage, Alaska
Schedule: Monday – Friday from 8: 00am – 5: 00pm
Pay: $18 – $20 an hour + benefits
WHAT YOU’ LL DO:
Under general supervision, represents the company by providing sales support and customer service to all of the following client groups – Commercial, Residential, Rural, and Industrial.
Provides general customer service to customers arriving to pick up already placed orders or helps to enter simple sales transactions received in person, over the phone or from a member of the sales team.
Generates sales opportunities through research on client needs, industry competition and learning the features and benefits of company products.
Represents the company during the sales process by collecting customer product needs and design specifications over the phone or in person, and acting as liaison between purchasing, inside design staff, production staff and customer.
Obtains product orders, measurements and specification information; for all types of products such as civil, commercial building materials, and structural building components.
Actively engages in increasing knowledge of sales techniques and developing product and industry knowledge through attending company training programs and develops knowledge of civil, structural, industrial and commercial construction.
Provides admin support to a team of salespeople who will in turn train you to advance and grow into the next step on your path to becoming a professional sales person.

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:
High School Diploma/GED
At least 2 years of experience working in an office
At least 2 years of sales experience
Must be able to work in the US
