Sales Administrator (remote)AKJ Education is a national wholesaler for school and libraries along with literacy, non-profit, and book donation programs. Our mission is to reduce the barriers, namely time and money, between teachers and schools and the highest quality classroom resources. AKJ services educators of all levels and provide books from the early stages of reading through 12th grade. We sell direct to K12 schools and offer B2B services with other education companies.
We are currently looking for two Sales Administrator to help in our efforts – one working with our direct to sales team and the other working with our B2B sales team. The day-to-day essence of this role is providing exceptional support to our reps through product research, price quote generation, internal marketing, outreach initiative, and consistent follow-up.
*Responsibilities: *
Uploading records for customer interactions
Assisting sales reps in resolving issues in real-time and providing solutions across platforms for products and services
Quote/order creation
Troubleshoot problems with customer orders and related issues
Maintain our sale support data
Provide insight into daily sales initiatives
Play a critical role in defining and refining all processes related to increasing sales growth
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of sales support experience, excellent communication, both written and verbal, and thrive in a fast-paced growth-oriented environment.

Understanding of sales practices
Help the team meet objectives by maintaining accurate data in our sales & operation tools
Aiding in customer orders, relevant queries, and account statuses
An organized team player
Detail oriented
Ability to maintain multiple projects and responsibilities (such as product sample request, trade show planning, catalog mailings, and lead generations for targeted sales campaigns)
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel
Experience with SalesPad or similar CRM software
The Sales Administrator works closely with the entire sales team. This position can be hybrid for those in the Baltimore metropolitan area who wish to work in the office or fully remote. Currently, we are employing legal residents of the following states: MD, OH, TX, FL, and IL and operate on Eastern Standard Time. Occasional business travel may be required. We are requesting that all new employees be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, or to have a religious or medical accommodation.
