Title: SAP Rapid Response Functional Expert (PP/MM/Procurement/Logistics)
Location: Atlanta, GA

Job Description:
The RapidResponse functional expert will design, configure, unit test, debug, and implement SAP capabilities and applications in RapidResponse tool. The expert is required to deliver innovative, high quality solutions to customers. The RapidResponse functional expert should have strong application development and systems integration experience. This person will adhere to CLIENT development standards and methodologies. This person will be capable of performing code reviews with peers and be able to recognize good RapidResponse techniques and correct configuration/coding problems. This position will work as part of a RapidResponse application support team.
Skills and Areas of Expertise: The list of potential skills that a RapidResponse functional expert might be required to have can be long and diverse.
Knowledgeable background in: Production Planning, Grouping Pegging and Distribution, Logistics, Materials management, Procurement, Project Systems.
Responsibilities:
Demonstrated soft skills required for the presentation of ideas and concepts to stakeholders such as vendors, end users and senior management.
Excellent verbal, written, communication, presentation, and negotiations skills
Ability to effectively interface with technical and nontechnical staff at all organizational levels
Strong customer service approach
Ability to collaborate and work well with others
Ability to engage vendor support on technical and functional issues
Ability to escalate issues properly and in a timely hion
Partner with functional teams to review functional specifications and produce technical design specifications
Provide level of effort estimates based on functional specifications or business requirements
Design, configure, unit test, debug and implement RapidResponse capabilities/applications while working closely with functional teams
Resolve open development issues and make decisions about alternate technical approaches
Proactively provide work status and should Follow development standards and methodology
Ensure that documentation is properly maintained
Support the change control process
Conduct design reviews with peers
Support application upgrades, Work Defects
Develop test plans for new or modified programs and Test, debug, implement, and document fixes
Perform issue resolution and root cause analysis
Provide advanced problem solving and technical support, including on-call critical support
Qualifications we seek in you:
Strong understanding and implementation experience using the scaled Agile framework (SAFe) methodology
Available to support off-shift system support
Effective communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment, customer support environment and with all levels of the organization
Working knowledge of system development methodology and process
Working knowledge of the Kinaxis product support services. The resource to be strong in authoring Kinaxis workbooks and especially with the TALEND software that will do the extract, transformation, and load (ETL) of the data out of SAP.
Minimum eight years of hands-on experience in developing and supporting RapidResponse applications.
Good understanding of performance tuning and debugging techniques
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for design, creation and testing of programs
Experience integrating Rapid Response with SAP ERP applications
Strong SQL including complex joins.
Excellent knowledge of commitment control logic (logical unit of work).
