CLINICIAN – BEDFORD COUNSELING ASSOCIATES (BCA)
Position Summary: LICSW Clinician provides services for Level I clients experiencing significant psychological distress which could be ameliorated by effective therapy. Most clients have psychological resources and motivation to support and maintain progress. Clients have generally mild impairment in the following domains: ADL, interpersonal, occupational and/or adaptation to change.
Description: Salaried LICSW clinician to provide Level I mental health treatment for adults.
COVID: Currently operating under a hybrid “mostly remote—occasionally on site” model
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide office-based (and/or virtual) individual psychotherapy through the use of evidence-based practices
Provide occasional virtual and or/office-based Level I case management (to eligible clients)
Development of individual treatment plans based on client’s individual wellness goals
. Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of a range of mental health diagnoses common to persons seeking mental health services
Effective communication, time management and organizational skills
Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
Experience:
Experience working with individuals in need of Level I and potential above therapy and office-based and or remote case management services
Experience with evidence-based practices common to Level I Service provision
Licensure/Certification:
Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field is required
