Job Description :
Location: Sagebrush Church is looking for a positive, well-qualified, experienced professional to be our technical content manager working with our Web/IT Development team. The individual should also possess the ability to think both creatively and analytically. Duties will include but are not limited to building raising an online presence, awareness by sharing content٫, and monitoring web traffic and metrics to maintain best practices and content strategy. Content is defined as multimedia articles, blog posts, images, or videos that aid in fostering engagement online and on our mobile apps.
Sagebrush Church is a committed, fast-paced, excellent, and leading Christian organization in the Albuquerque area and multiple locations. It also has developed a robust online presence through our tv, media, and online presence and would like to continue to extend this presence.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with content writers and ministry teams to plan and develop site content, style, layout, and posting schedule.
Manage content across all platforms, including email and social media video platforms (YouTube, Vimeo, etc.)
Use content management systems to analyze website traffic and end-user engagement metrics.
Manage content distribution to online channels and social media video platforms to increase web traffic.
Edit, publish and proofread content.
Provide editorial, creative, and technical support to team members.
Track web analytics to ascertain content engagement levels.
Develop/maintain an editorial calendar and ensure the content team is on board.
Ensure compliance with the law (e.g., copyright and data protection regulations.)
QUALIFICATIONS
A dynamic and growing relationship with Christ, and live a way of life that is Jesus-focused.
Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, English, or related field or equivalent experience.
3-5 years of work experience as a content manager/specialist.
Hands-on experience as a content specialist or editor. Proficiency with popular content management systems.
Enjoy taking-action when answers to a problem are not readily apparent.
Experienced with Google Workspace, Github, and basic technical knowledge of HTML and web publishing.
Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.
Attention to detail is your passion while maintaining a creative eye in the production of team projects.
Enhanced skills in developing processes and establishing priorities.
