The Oracle Analytics Solution Architect will work closely with the Oracle Fusion Applications team in the areas of HCM, ERP, and SCM developing dashboards, analytics, and BI Publisher reports within Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) for both the public and private sector.

In addition to supporting the Fusion Applications team, the Oracle Analytics Solution Architect will work within the Business Intelligence team to support all aspects of Oracle Cloud Analytics design and implementation including, but not limited to, Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW).

What you will do:

Translate business requirements into ad-hoc SQL queries, BI Publisher Reports, Analyses and Dashboards, and Oracle Data Visualization projects.
Apply knowledge of Oracle Fusion database tables to design BI Publisher Data Models by developing simple to complex SQL queries.
Design and develop complex external customer facing business documents using RTF, PDF, and Excel templates in BI Publisher.
Assist with the design and implementation of industry best practices, procedures, and processes management policies.
Lead strategic Analytics business process transformation sessions and conversations to identify opportunities for improvement related to people, process or technology.
Identify solution gaps, requirement gaps, and key design decisions, and communicate and document their associated options, considerations, and provide recommendations based on prior experience and leading practice.
Critically research, identify and provide system solutions that maximize process efficiencies/effectiveness and minimize future state maintenance and sustainability efforts.
Advocate and persuade the client to choose product and/or industry best practice solutions based on in-depth Analytics and Oracle expertise
Articulate system and process design options to client audiences with varying degrees of expertise (i.e. Leadership, technical, functional…) to obtain consensus.
Apply business process and system expertise to bring forth leading practice recommendation in the area of Analytics
Ability to synthesis business use cases and requirements to define system requirements and set the direction for corresponding and complimentary solution delivery aligned to business goals.
Apply business and analytical knowledge and expertise, working in collaboration with the engagement teams, in the implementation of business-aligned/driven Oracle Cloud solutions
Lead testing and training programs
Support robust change management programs to increase adoption for our clients with the Analytics Solution
Partner with project managers to identify project risk and issues. Work together to collaboratively develop and articulate mitigate strategies
Support sales cycles as needed as a Subject Matter Expert
Participate in the development and deployment of implementation methodologies, trainings and toolkits through internal initiatives and lead continuous development of the internal market offering
Provide coaching, mentoring and performance counseling to consultants and client team members
Utilize your entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and externally with clients and the community
Invest in your professional development individually and through participation in firm wide learning and development programs

Qualifications:
Successful candidates will have:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, human resources, or related field
Minimum of five (5) years of related experience and/or training with proven performance history
5+ years of experience working with Oracle Analytics products (OAC/FAW/OBIEE) and a strong background in developing complex SQL queries, BI Publisher report development, Analyses and Dashboards, and Data Visualization.
Knowledge of Oracle Database administrative tasks preferred.
Oracle Fusion Applications data knowledge (HCM, ERP, and SCM) a plus.
Experience in Data Model (RPD) development and knowledge of data pipelines using ETL tools and/or procedural SQL preferred. Experience with HCM Extracts, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and Oracle DataSync is a plus.
Dependable performer with the ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment.
Excellent communication skills; can work closely with the business users to understand and refine requirements and translate into meaningful information delivered as ad-hoc queries, BI Publisher Reports or Analyses/Dashboards.
At least 5+ years of project lifecycle experience from gathering business requirements to development, unit testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production support.
Previous consulting experience is a plus.
Certification in other related Oracle HCM Cloud modules is a plus
Excellent analysis skills and the ability to break down complex problems and offer recommendations and solutions
Demonstrated management, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, communication skills, and highly developed Microsoft Suite skills (Word, Excel) required
Ability to engage effectively at the business and technical level, provide exceptional client service, demonstrate commitment to continuous learning in order to stay current regarding applicable strategies, see the “big picture” as well as the details, display appropriate ethical knowledge and commitment to quality and the timely completion of projects
Exhibit a sense of urgency and commitment to quality and the timely completion of projects
Ability to multitask across and prioritize effectively across multiple different projects and stakeholders both internal and external
Ability to communicate effectively and work with client resources from lower level to C suite
Ability to travel, potentially up to 25%
Must be willing to work non-traditional business hours for client demands
