Job Description :
We are looking for an individual to fill our full-time Medical Gas Verifier Trainee vacancy in Northern California. Shifts are variable and include weekend, evening, holiday, and on-call work. Duties include, but are not limited to, assisting with inspection, testing, verification, preventative maintenance, and repair of medical gas and vacuum pipeline systems at medical facilities, surgery centers, dental offices, and veterinary clinics per applicable codes, standards and requirements. The successful candidate is expected to become well versed in NFPA 99 and all associated procedures/inspections in order to achieve his/her credential as an ASSE 6030 Medical Gas Verifier after accumulating two years of verification experience. Training shall be at least 2 years up to 6 years based upon current experience.
First Year Objective is to become ASSE 6040 Certified –Raise 3-5%
2nd Year Objective is to become ASSE 6020 Certified-Raise 3-5%
3rd Year Objective is to become ASSE 6030 Certified-Raise 5% or more
5th Year Objective is to become CMGV Certified Medical Gas Verifier-Raise 5% or more
Candidates shall work within the hospital environment and interact with healthcare providers and patients during their normal work day. Complete background check, drug test, skills/aptitude tests and drivers history check shall be performed and evaluated prior to hire. The new employee shall be subjected to TB testing and full inoculation program as required by Healthcare Facilities we service. Our service territory is California and Nevada with an emphasis on the San Francisco Bay Area, Sacramento Valley, San Joaquin Valley, and Reno/Tahoe.
The Medical Gas Verifier Trainee works under the direction of the Operations Manager to provide comprehensive testing and repairs for CYA customers. He/she is responsible for conducting his/her work responsibilities in strict accordance to all company policies along with all Local, State and Federal Laws. He/she is required to conduct himself/herself in a manner that projects a positive professional demeanor at all times. All testing documentation shall be completely filled out, honestly, and with the highest level of integrity. The individual in this position is responsible to learn all aspects of medical gas verification and demonstrate competency to maintain continued employment. This position shall maintain a “Trainee” status for a term of at least two (2) years of continuous employment.

Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of NFPA 99, 2015 EditionExperience with vacuum pump and/or air compressor maintenance and repair, preferably in a medical settingExperience with plumbing design and/or installations.Experience with laptop/tablet computers along with Excel, Outlook and Adobe software applications.”Additional Compensation:
