Job Description :
The Patient Experience Specialist (PES), is the first interaction as well as the last a patient will have with our office. You set the stage for our patient care team and providers to create a memorable experience. It is important that the PES has stellar customer service and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Treat patients better than they expect.
Answer phones, make appointments and answer general questions patients may have.
Detecting when patients need to be seen immediately.
Checking eligibility and benefits daily.
Call patients for appointment reminders.
Collect patient outstanding balances, schedule follow up appointments.
Return any voice messages on the same day.
Qualifications:
At least two years’ experience in a customer/patient facing role.
Energetic, strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in the use of computers including Microsoft office, scanning, faxing, etc.
Highly motivated and self-directed with ability to work in fast pace environment that may get hectic, and ability to work with others.
