Job Description :
Jones & Henry Engineers is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to keep our Kalamazoo office running smoothly and efficiently. This is a great opportunity to assist our vibrant staff with projects and provide general administrative support. Ideal candidates will have previous experience including Microsoft Word and Excel.

Job Summary: The core responsibilities of our Administrative Assistant revolve around supporting others. These duties vary from day to day. You may perform a variety of tasks, such as:
Handles all phone calls, greet visitors and manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
Coordinates meeting schedules and logistics, including necessary supplies and refreshments
Provides support on all word processing needs, such as proposals, specifications, and any project related documents
Provides support for document production
Distributes Contract documents
Provide QA/QC for Project Assistants
Coordinates office vendors who provide services to the Kalamazoo office.
Prepares working space and supplies for new employee
Maintains inventory of all common supplies and polls staff regarding need for new or additional supplies
Runs errands as necessary
Maintains kitchen and office in a tidy and organized manner for visitors including always maintaining paper in copiers
Minimum Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent, plus appropriate continuing education and a minimum of two years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel
Knowledge of Adobe software, including photoshop is a plus
Knowledge of basic office processes and procedures.
Strong organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work with a range of individuals in a professional and cooperative environment
Ability to balance demands from multiple directions while maintaining productivity and attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.50 – $25.00 per hour
