As one of the fastest-growing warehousing and logistics companies in North America, we’re looking for an experienced IT Manager.
Responsibilities:
Manage work activities for the I.T. tech’s which include daily tasks
Supervise a small team about about 4 people working different shifts.
Installing and supporting purchased and in-house software
Procures I.T. related hardware and software
Continuous improvements to network infrastructure
Assis in evaluation third party software and hardware
Manage and control all network security
Assist in PC setups and installation
Assist in communications configurations for local and remote site
Provides 2nd level support to the I.T. techs
On call for 24 hour support
Participate in operating system upgrades and third party software upgrades
Keeping documentation of applications, network and systems current
Keep proper documentation and records
Promote and maintain a safe working environment
Enforce company policies/ procedures and corresponding work instructions
Communicate effectively with internal and external customers
Ability to perform network configurations
Knowledge of hardware (thermal and laser printers)
Experience with hand held bar code scanners
Experience with security cameras and building access control systems
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,285.00 – $85,000.00 per year
