This is for our Quality Assurance Practice globally servicing 800+ Clients including 50+ clients in Fortune 100. We bring the industry leading vision and expertise to help with Quality Engineering transformation journey for our reputed clients
Cognizant will not sponsor H-1B or other U.S. work authorization, or lawful permanent residence (otherwise known as a “Green Card”) for this role.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Work with the manual testers in the team to gather the testing assets (manual test cases, evidences etc.)
Lead the process to define and finalize the manual regression test pack for the application in scope.
Work closely with the project team and finalize the set of manual test cases to be baselined by gathering an agreement from all the 5 verticals.
Finalize the automation tool / framework to use with inputs / direction from the team. Provide recommendations and gather feedback.
Once the manual regression test pack is baselined, conduct a detailed automation planning to understand the automation feasibility, priority (based on business criticality as well as return on effort) and milestones.
Come up with a detailed automation plan and get it reviewed / agreed by stakeholders.
Setup the automation framework and complete the pre-requisites needed to be in place before commencing with the automation development.
Commence the automation development work with support from the Automation Tester.
Track the progress against the plan and communicate the updates / issues / risks / challenges with the team on an ongoing basis.
Understand the impact of each sprint on the automation pipeline (manual regression test suite) through discussions with the team and update the automation plan as required. Communicate the updated automation plan to all stakeholders on a biweekly basis.
