The Company

The PositionWe are looking for a qualified candidate to fill our Outdoor Seasonal Field Hand position. This candidate will be a reliable, self-motivated quick learner. Good communication skills are required with the ability to work with groups and follow directions carefully. Must be able to safely work around farm equipment. Work will be outside in the elements and all employees will be responsible for their own appropriate work apparel. Must be willing to work in all sorts of weather from cold and rainy spring and fall to hot and sunny summer. This position is also responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace and for following all standards set by Lume Cannabis Co. We are willing to train the right candidate that is hard working with a great demeanor.
The Responsibilities
Maintenance of the property including; plants, irrigation system, roads/isles, greenhouse and surrounding areas
Follow compliance guidelines and green waste requirements
Protects the quality of the product at all times
Recognize contamination- pests, seeds, mildew, and brings concerns to shift leader
Hard working with a positive attitude
Other duties as assigned
The Qualifications:
Must be 21 years of age
Punctual and reliable
Reliable Transportation
Able to take direction and open to constructive criticism
Strong communication skills
Highly motivated, self-directed, innovative
Mental clarity and ability to focus
Possess an eye for detail and efficiency
Ability to do intricate work that requires full use of both hands
No allergies to plants or to plant environments
Ability to lift at least 50lbs
Ability to bend, stand, or sit for an extended period of time
A home garden of any kind is strictly prohibited-caregiver medical cards must be surrendered to the state
Have a basic understanding of the cannabis laws, rules and regulations set forth by the state
Experience working around farm and construction equipment is a plus
Gardening experience is a plus
Ability to accept and quickly adapt to changes in procedures and workflow
Schedule
40 hours a week, 7:30 am to 6:00 pm M-Th or Th-Su. Start time is schedule to change
