Job Description :
Job Purpose

To work safely and productively with fellow crew members, to ensure shop facilities are tidy and equipped with a safe environment for daily production.

Tasks

To work as a member of a team, working to accomplish departmental daily/weekly goals directed by Manager.
Be aware of your surroundings at all times.
Responsible for sweeping all bay floors and returning any tools to the proper tool cart or crib area.
Responsible for taking out all garbage’s and recycle bins in all bays, crane barn, and machine shop.
Clean and fuel company vehicles on an as needed basis.
Clean rugs, furniture, etc.
Change burnt out lightbulbs
Replace filters
Painting
Mow grass at multiple facilities.
Remove snow and spread salt in the corresponding outside areas (door entrance/exits, sidewalks, and staircases, etc.) to ensure safety of all employees, visitors, etc.
Run errands, deliver parts/packages
Escort oversize loads
Work as an all-around team player, to assist in various areas, when needed; Help assist as a Laborer in the sandblast pit;
Operate standard equipment and tools (i.e. overhead cranes, grinders, press brakes, shears, geka, etc.)
Responsible for turning off all lights, compressors, and locking all shop doors securely before leaving at the end of shift.
