This is for our Quality Assurance Practice globally servicing 800+ Clients including 50+ clients in Fortune 100. We bring the industry leading vision and expertise to help with Quality Engineering transformation journey for our reputed clients
Cognizant will not sponsor H-1B or other U.S. work authorization, or lawful permanent residence (otherwise known as a “Green Card”) for this role.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Understand user stories and help Lead Automation Tester prepare test plan
Assist the Lead Automation Tester in baselining the manual regression test suite, automation planning, framework/tool setup and stakeholder management across 5 pods as required.
Once the suite is baselined, plan for automation design, development, dry run and execution as required.
Coordinate with the project teams for data requirements to run the automation pack on a regular basis.
Log defects and manage the defect triage process jointly with the Lead automation Tester.
Once the defects are fixed, retest the automation script and confirm successful closure.
Understand the impact of each sprint on the regression test pack and plan for maintenance as required on an ongoing basis.
Help Lead automation tester in any ad-hoc activities related to automation.
