ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Arrive at schedule time for shift.Check provided vehicle for PM’S pre and post trip.Log in Fenevison for manifest of daily route, scan in all deliveries properly.Pick up customer material, patterns record them in pattern book.Log in Telogis daily keep up to date with driver log, DOT breaks etc.Record any Maintenance issues with vehicles electronically (DVIR).Communicate any issues with shipping department concerning any delays prior deliveries.Customer Service, good attitude, communication, proper attire.Clean out truck, unload COM, patterns place in proper location.
Skills: Read English at 12th grade levelHigh school math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions
EDUCATION / TRAINING: High school graduate, preferred; Electronic Logging Devices
EXPERIENCE: 1-3 years; prior driver experience with delivery of materials, ELD’s, and DOT regulations. 1-3 Years experience with customer service.
CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES: Dot examiner’s card; chauffeurs license.
WORK HOURS: Monday-Friday (Drivers work to assigned schedule provided daily; additional hours may be required, especially during fiscal year end or inventory periods.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Lift 40-60 lbs.~4x/hr; alternate standing, walking, and sitting for 8 hr/day; will kneel, twist, bend occasionally; must wear appropriate PPE (typically high-vis vest, safety shoes, safety glasses and cut-proof jacket)Must comply with all standard work instructions, posted signage, and written procedures for assigned tasks.
