POSITION SUMMARY:
The resource would be primarily responsible for generating, supporting and maintenance of Management Information System (MIS) in an accurate and timely manner. Should possess good analytical and advanced excel skillsets in performing data analysis for generating reports on periodic basis. The resource will also assist in regular month close, co-ordination on audits, preparation of financial statements and other activities of Accounting function. Oracle ERP knowledge is a must.
JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Maintenance of the reconciliation tool (Blackline): Upload balances at month-end on a daily basis through until the consolidation; upload currency rates; assign and group accounts; manage and assign risk; manage user access; follow up and confirm on timely completion of reconciliations; ensure policies and procedures are updated;
2. OPEX reporting: Run MoM report for variance reporting and co-ordination with various stakeholders for final reporting to the Management;
3. General Ledger (GL) Maintenance:
a) Accrual reversals after consolidation/late entries
b) Open and close periods in Oracle FUSION
c) Gather all GL maintenance requests and co-ordinate with IT team and circulation of final report thereon – requests would include creation of GL account/cost center/entity; set up of all roll ups
4. Certification tasks:
a. Blackline Sampling (monthly)
b. Exposure Analysis(monthly)
c. Quarterly Certifications – Non-moving balances & Exposure Analysis – through Workiva
d. Quarterly Blackline User Access certification
5. Accounting and Audit:
a. Preparation of Monthly close calendar
b. Handle all Financial Accounting transactions & General Ledger – Carrying out Monthly/Quarterly/Annual closure activities
c. General ledger review; analysis/recordation of monthly accruals in close co-ordination with Business unit heads and Accounts payable team
d. Preparation of Financial Statements
e. Co-ordination with internal and external auditors in completion of Audits
f. Others – Head count report preparation; preparation of adhoc reports
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA from a premier/reputed institute
2 to 6 years post qualification
WORK SCHEDULE OR TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS (Only add if needed)
2 PM to 11 PM
