We are looking for a talented Senior Staff UI Developer to lead building the User Experience Platform that serves all of FireEye’s Network Product offerings. This role will be critical to the success of enabling a seamless customer journey across our Network Security Products.
As the ideal candidate, you will have deep knowledge of modern web technologies and principles, you can demonstrate executing through ideation to implementation, are highly accountable, and always puts the customer experience first.

Responsibilities:Own key Web User Interface components/modules for FireEye’s network security productsArchitect and deliver a single-page application (SPA) using in-house tools and established librariesTranslate rich, visual designs into beautiful, interactive, web UIsDevelop UI code using modern web principles and best practicesPartner with talented UX designers to create customer-focused user experiencesConstructively challenge existing solutions and inspire creative ideasCollaborate with other functional teams to support the overall FireEye visionTake ownership of the entire SDLC in a DevOps oriented mannerPromote strict code testing and validation to ensure high-quality coding standardsMaintain and encourage code hygiene, effective testing and deployment strategies
Qualifications
8-15 years of experience building enterprise web and mobile applicationsSolid understanding of application performance and designing low latency, high speed web applicationsAbility to run projects using agile development methodologies and toolsFamiliarity with large scale and highly-performant solutionsFamiliarity across the entire technical stackExpert knowledge with Javascript and applying best practicesExpert knowledge with any of modern JS libraries BackboneJS, ChaplinJS, React, Redux, jQuery and associated librariesExpert knowledge with Ruby on Rails framework or any other backend technology.Deep understanding of CSS3 and various extensions such as LESS or SassExpertise in using and extending RESTful or GraphQL APIsStrong proponent of strict code quality standards and validation using JSHint, JSLint, etc.Comfortable with working in a distributed team
