Web UI Architect
About Position:
Seeking Web UI Development Architects who are highly motivated and enthusiastic to join our Core Technology team and make a difference! We are looking for dynamic hands on UI Developers who can thrive in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Driving the architecture, design, and leading development of sophisticated user interfaces and data visualizations
Should work closely with product / project managers, senior executives and development teams to set overall strategy and to drive the requirements and execute web/mobile applications.
Architecture and design client-side applications for web/mobile based applications, create fast, easy-to-use, high volume production applications, and develop prototypes quickly.
Have deep understanding of user motivations, business objectives, market opportunities and competition.
Hands-on and responsible for development of POC’s to create cutting-edge solutions.
Actively participate in all phases of the development cycle and the work process discussions in a Scrum/Agile working environment.
Thought leadership in emerging web technologies
Mandatory Skills:
Minimum 12+ years of Web UI Architecture, Design and development experience
Must have experience in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Responsive Development (Media Queries/Bootstrap etc…),
Must have experience in Front-end Architecture/Technology Strategy, Content Strategy, Data Formats (JSON, XML etc.), Code Modularization, Process Enhancement, documentation (HLD, LLD etc.)
Strong experience in either React js or Angular is must
Expertise in Accessibility , prior experience is making web applications, mobile applications Accessibility complaint
Experienced in Data Visualization (D3, HighCharts, Fusion Charts etc….) -, Mobile (Sencha, PhoneGap etc….), Templating (Handlebar, Mostache etc. ), Testing (Mocha-Chai, Karma, Jasmine etc. – any), Library (jQuery), MV* (AngularJS, EmberJS etc.), JSON Integration, AJAX Calling.
Exposure to other Javascript frameworks : Can.js , Mateor.js , React.js, Ext js etc.
Experience in Performance Analysis, Caching Mechanism, Cross-Platform/Cross-Browser Development, Coding Best Practices (Error-Handling, Memory Leaks etc.), Code Review, Accessibility/WAI-ARIA, Internationalization/Localization, SEO
UI Integration with Implementation Environment like Java or .NET
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize based on project needs
Excellent written and verbal communications
Good analytical, problem solving and debugging skills
Optional Skills:
Experience in Java server side development using JSP, Servlet or other Java Frameworks
Version Control (GIT, SVN etc. – any)
Knowledge of databases such as Oracle / MySql / MongoDB
Experience with social networking APIs and design trends, such as Face book, twitter, Google
Awareness of UI / UXS design principles
Adobe Photoshop / Omnigraffle or similar design tools
Web services – Integration with UI
Qualification
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or Engineering with relevant industry experience
