Title/Position : Lead Python Developer, DjangoLocation : Hyderabad/Gurgaon, IndiaDuration : 6+ months C2HJOB SUMMARY: We are looking for a Lead Python Developer to support the invoicing application used by our brokers. In this role the Lead will be responsible for building and deploying solutions web app and leading the team, which includes both front-end and back-end developers. Responsibility will also include responding and solving to problems reported by business users in production and UAT environments.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Manage one or more Engineering teams, overseeing multiple engineers and collaborate with Product Management to develop effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.* Lead software development efforts of the team and utilize technical expertise to guide and mentor.* Guide and mentor teams in solving any issues reported by business in a timely fashion.* Assist team in conducting detailed RCAs to prevent recurring issues with similar pattern.* Ensure that the any solution built by the team always meet CBRE compliance and DevSecOps standards.* Participate in discussions about software architecture.* Interact with clients/business users to understand any problems reported and provide resolution in a fast and efficient manner.* Collaborate with the engineering leadership to solve problems and improve the function of the engineering organization.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: May provide formal supervision for 0 – 3 employees within functional or operational areas. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff. Recommends staff recruitment, selection, and performance management feedback to D&T Management for indirect reports and/or junior team members. Mentors and coaches team members (direct and indirect) to further develop competencies. Leads by example and models behaviours that are consistent with the company’s values.QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: * Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent from four-year college or university in Computer Science, Information technology or other relevant field of study.* Minimum 8 years of experience in developing web application of which minimum 3-year hands-on programming experience with Python Django framework.* Proficiency with front-end technologies with practical experience developing web app using HTML, CSS and Angular, with minimum on 1 year of experience with Angular8 or above.* Proficiency with containerizing application with Docker.* Proficiency on AWS Cloud architecture and services.* Hands on experience in any Unit testing framework.* Able to create self-contained, reusable, and testable modules/components.* Able to solve and provide quick solutions.* Validating user actions on the client side and providing responsive feedback* Writing non-blocking code, and resorting to advanced techniques such as multi-threading, when needed* Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git or SVN.* Good understanding of DevOps CI/CD pipelines.* Knack for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code.* Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application.COMMUNICATION SKILLS:* Ability to comprehend, analyse, and interpret the complex business requirements.* Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues.* Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to engineering leaders and business stakeholders.* Ability to motivate team.REASONING ABILITY:* Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations.* Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based organization.* Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the companyJob Types: Full-time, Regular / PermanentSalary: Up to ₹2,500,000.00 per yearBenefits:Health insuranceInternet reimbursementLife insuranceProvident FundSchedule:Day shiftEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Python, Django: 3 years (Required)total work: 8 years (Required)Work Remotely:Temporarily due to COVID-19
